Born in Italy, Luca Lomonaco discovered his passion for restaurants at just 16 years old, where the rhythm of service and the culture of hospitality first shaped his path. 

After moving from Northern Italy to Miami, he immersed himself in the city’s evolving dining scene, quickly developing a deep appreciation for the connection between hospitality, food, and wine.

His journey led him through some of Miami’s most respected Italian restaurants, before taking him to San Francisco to work at the three-Michelin-starred Quince, an experience that refined his approach to precision, creativity, and service at the highest level.

Returning to Miami with a broader vision, Luca stepped into leadership roles as beverage director, sommelier, and general manager, where he further shaped his expertise in fine service and exceptional culinary experiences.

Driven by a deep love for hospitality and a desire to bring authentic Italian dining to Miami, Luca founded dōma. 

Today, he continues to lead with a clear vision: to create a restaurant that feels genuine, and to establish dōma as one of Miami’s dining destinations.
